Ave Maria Pastoral Centre is where evangelization, renewal and the empowerment of Church leaders takes place. Scripture, liturgy and theology are taught, and many

diocesan celebrations, like overnight vigils, take place. It is a live-in conference centre where we do a lot of the HIV/AIDS training in Education for Life, Home-based Care and Care for Orphans and Vulnerable children.

Sr JANE is the one who does a lot of the spiritual input and sees to the overall running of the place along with Fr Tom from Ireland. As well as planning, lecturing and correcting assignments and evaluating the Called to Serve ministry programme, Sr Jane goes out to village communities at the weekend with Fr Tom seeking suitable participants for the courses.
