OLSH Life - Ministries
Our Mission entrusted to us by the Church, holds a wealth of challenge for us in this day - a challenge that is both immense and urgent. We minister in a great variety of ways. Each Sister is encouraged to develop her own interests, talents, skills and competence. Some of our ministries are:
- Overseas Missions
- Work with the Indigenous peoples of Australia
- Working with Refugees and others seeking social justice
- Spiritual Direction and Guidance
- Pastoral Care/Parish Ministry
- Education
- Health and Aged Care
- Liturgical Artworks
- Accounting, Secretarial and Clerical ministry
- Hospital Chaplaincy
Const. 81: We remain open to the needs of our world and the demands of particular cultures. We endeavour to make our own, the hopes and anxieties of the people of our times, especially those who are poor, suffering or deprived in any way. According to our traditions, the mission to those people who do not know Christ, holds the principal place in our apostolic works.
Whatever our work, we all share in the mission of our Congregation.
